Fulfilled Children,
Sustainable Destinies
Nutritious food and good education are corner stones that help children prepare for life. Every Child Counts strives to provide children with the essentials that nourish and support them to help reach their full potential.
6 Schools
6000 Children impacted.
One purpose.

At Every Child Counts, we believe that nutritious food and quality education should be the foundation of every child's life — not a privilege. Yet, for many children across Kenya, these basic needs remain out of reach.
This heartbreaking reality moved us to act.
Our mission is rooted in giving back, driven by a commitment to pay it forward, and powered by purposeful action. Every act of kindness — when guided by intention — can nourish a child, support their learning, and help them thrive. Through our school adoption model, we support thousands of children by providing nourishing meals, essential school supplies, and the safe, structured environments they need to grow and learn.
Our Three-Tier Approach to Lasting Change
Tier 1: Basic Needs
We begin with the essentials: food, books, school supplies — the foundation for every child’s right to learn.
Tier 2: Infrastructure Improvements
Next, we invest in the physical environment — upgrading school kitchens, installing water tanks, repairing toilets, desks, and classrooms to ensure a safe and dignified learning space.
Tier 3: Community Empowerment (Aspirational)
Our long-term goal is to support thriving school communities by fostering local leadership and sustainable growth, ensuring lasting transformation.
The Hidden Reality: What Children in Kenya Face
As you walk with us, you’ll begin to see the depth of educational and daily hardships that so many children in Kenya endure:
Hunger & Water Insecurity
Many children come to school hungry and dehydrated. Without food or access to clean drinking water, their ability to concentrate and stay healthy is severely compromised.
Lack of Basic Hygiene
Schools often lack working toilets or handwashing stations, leading to poor hygiene, illness, and a loss of dignity — particularly for older girls.
Scarcity of Learning Materials
Textbooks, notebooks, pencils — things many take for granted — are rare in rural schools. This lack of basic tools stops eager young learners before they even begin.
Crippling Infrastructure
Many classrooms are deteriorating. Broken desks, cracked walls, and overcrowded rooms make it hard for children to focus, feel safe, or stay motivated.

With your support, we’ve already reached 6,000 children across 6 schools. But there’s more to do — and every child counts. Join us in building a future where food, learning, and success are within reach for every child.
